This image of the Utah Juniper (locals call it Vortex Juniper) at the bottom of Oak Creek Canyon was shot after a short descent on a well manicured trail to the canyon floor along Arizona Route 89a south of Slide Rock. The small unnamed stream with the white water flowing is emptying into Oak Creek.
